Kim has a decade’s worth of experience helping nonprofits translate technical information into accessible and persuasive public messages that drive social impact. From Detroit to Nigeria she has worked on health, education and economic campaigns–as a program officer, evaluator and trainer. In her role with Neimand Collaborative, she works closely on research design and analysis while keeping an eye on the applicability of findings and recommendations in implementation. Kim holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Virginia Tech. Never afraid to explore new possibilities, over the years Kim has traveled to over 25 countries, run a wedding planning business and auditioned for a reality TV show. Fueled by black coffee and red wine, Kim lives in Virginia with her husband, two highly-spirited kids and energetic rescue dog. Any free time she can carve out is spent at country music concerts, reading personal development books and trying new recipes.
