A sustainable approach to conservation impact.
“As we confront the pressing challenges of climate change in Africa’s rural communities, it’s essential that we scale up our fundraising efforts to address urgent needs and share solutions that balance people and nature. I’m grateful to the Neimand team for their role in building APW’s philanthropic foundations and enabling us to expand to new conservation landscapes that have been long overlooked.”

Solution
Through review and analysis of APW’s strategic goals, data, donor communications, development processes, existing donor file and interviews with staff and supporters, our team developed a strategic plan to guide the organization’s philanthropy efforts over three years. We then got to work with APW to implement the plan—advising leadership on the execution of a major gifts program, including developing research-informed solicitation strategies, identifying new supporters, coaching the board of trustees on their role in fundraising and providing tailored recommendations to strengthen development operations. Our team provided critical support and meeting structure—across seven time zones—to both advance priority initiatives and seize unique opportunities.
